See by Chloe Two Can Oversized Cotton Tote | Quirky Electric Blue Carryall With Whimsical Details

Posted on on Mon, 03/08/2010 - 13:11 by BagBunch - Bags, Handbags & Purses
See by Chloe is basically the French answer to Marc by Marc Jacobs. They are both the young, hip diffusion lines of major fashion houses, but that's not where the similarities end. They both run the gamut from edgy rocker chic to preppy cutesy retro chic. This bag falls into the latter category. The colors on [...]

Marc Jacobs Amber Handbag

Lots of color, very little fuss seems to be the story behind the new Marc Jacobs Amber Handbag. It’s definitely eye catching, thanks mainly to the pretty purple color. It’s a hue you’ll definitely get plenty of mileage from well into fall 2010, so from that standpoint it’s a great find. Otherwise, though, it’s a relatively simple, slightly boring everyday tote touched with a few gold studs along the sides and the daintiest of gold padlocks. Methinks this falls under “eh” on my Marc Jacobs checklist. Available to pre-order for $995 at Nordstrom.

Marc Jacobs Hillsy Buffalo Shoulder Bag | Cute Purple Leather Handbag With Bow Detail

Posted on on Tue, 02/23/2010 - 13:48 by BagBunch - Bags, Handbags & Purses
Marc Jacobs has always been one of my favorite designers. I especially like the Marc by Marc Jacobs line because it brings high, but wearable, fashion to a wide audience at a decent price point. But, I have to be honest, this bag is really not doing it for me, and I am really disappointed [...]

Man Bag: MARC by Marc Jacobs Randy Leather Crossbody Bag

Posted on on Tue, 02/23/2010 - 08:39 by Designer Handbag Reviews At Señora Cartera
When I said we'd be covering more "man bags" on Señora Cartera, you didn't think I was kidding? I meant business, gents. Everyone, man or woman, deserves to own the best accessories they can afford, and boy do I have a chic and affordable bag for both sexes. While I'm classifying the MARC by Marc Jacobs Randy Leather Crossbody Bag as a "man bag", it's utilitarian design and simple detailing will work for guys and gals alike. The 'Randy' is priced at $378, and you'll definitely get a ton of mileage out of this cheap thrill. Soft grained leather and brass-tone hardware are accented by a buckle accented long fold-over flap with snap closure. A single top handle as well as an adjustable crossbody strap (both done in leather) make this an urbanite's dream bag. It measures 12.5 x 14 x 1.75 which is on the slim side but certainly spacious enough to store essentials like a wallet, cell phone, iPod, magazines or other documents. How does that sound for a classic and practical man bag?

Birdcage Jennifer Quilted Bag, Handbag of the Day

Marc Jacobs Birdcage Jennifer Quilted Handbag
It might take a minute to see them but this Birdcage Jennifer Quilted Bag by Marc Jacobs really does have birds on it, and they're seemingly in a cage. Black nylon printed with brightly colored birds is overlaid with a stitched latticework of black patent leather. A chunky goldtone shoulder strap with interwoven leather adds a nice touch, as does the little golden logo-embossed padlock on the front, and the whole thing gives off a distinct 80s vibe. It has a simple zip closure along the top and one zip pocket on the black satin interior. $1,195

Photographer Kelly Stuart gives you a glimpse into the Diane von Furstenberg Fall 2010 Runway Show on Elle.com. I love these raw photos that capture everything from the movement of the fabric, the textures, and the magic that goes into being at a fashion show. (Plus a great shot of Rachel Zoe in front as the models walk by.) Simply breathtaking!

The Dazzling new Marc Jacobs NY Rocker Sequin Stam Bag

Posted on on Thu, 02/18/2010 - 15:51 by Bag Bliss
Perhaps the most famous (not to mention most recognizable) Marc Jacobs handbag is the Stam. It truly is an iconic piece, making it the perfect cornerstone to any handbag lover’s collection. I think what fascinates me the most about the Marc Jacobs Stam is how it can be reinvented again and again without ever missing [...]
